Florence Draper

Draper, Florence I. (Boudreau), 89, formerly of North Providence, died June 2, 2012 at Regency Heights in Danielson, CT. She was the wife of the late William H. Draper. Born in North Providence, she was a daughter of the late Evrade J. and Anezie (Gaudet) Boudreau.

Florence worked in quality control for the former FEMIC Inc. for ten years, retiring in 1981. She was a former member of the Salvatore Mancini Center on Aging and of the North Providence Golden Agers. She also was a former member of the Brook Village Association.

She leaves a daughter, Geraldine Wicker of Venice, FL, three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and a brother Joseph Boudreau of North Providence. She was the mother of the late William A. Draper and sister of the late Veronica Owen, Almy, Wilfred, and Alphonse Boudreau.

Her funeral will be held Wednesday at 9 am from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Mary, Mother of Mankind Church. Burial will follow in Greenville Cemetery, Smithfield. Calling hours Tuesday 5-8 pm.
