Evelyn Orsi

Orsi, Evelyn L. (DeLuca), 90, formerly of North Providence, died Wednesday June 6, 2012 at the Cedar Crest Nursing Centre. She was the wife of the late Liberato J. Orsi. Born in Pittsfield, MA, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Clorinda (Romano) DeLuca.

She was a baker at the North Providence High School, worked in the jewelry industry, and loved crocheting and gardening.

Evelyn leaves a son, Eugene R. Orsi and his wife Monica of West Warwick, four grandchildren, Kelly Orsi, Kristen Spagnole, Michael and Steven Orsi, three great grandchildren, Jayden Orsi, Christopher and Ava Spagnole. She was the sister of the late Anthony and Walter DeLuca and Mary DelSesto.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated Saturday at 9 AM in St. Mary's Church, 66 Church St., West Warwick. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
