Evelyn Caprarella

May 19, 1931 — July 16, 2024

Smithfield

Evelyn Caprarella beloved mother passed away comfortably July 16,2024. She leaves behind her son, Alan Ludovici age 64 and grandson, Robert Ludovici age 33, as well as several cousins.

She was born in Pascoag, Rhode Island on May 19, 1931 to parents Amelia (Fasula) and Anthony Macioci. She worked for Almacs Grocery Store, where she always did her best until she retired. She was married to Vincent Caprarella until his passing in 2010.

She was a loving and caring mother to son Alan and grandson Robert. She was always there when needed, to encourage and lend support. Through the years, she was there for Alan though his many health issues. Evelyn was always proud of Alan for his success and perseverance. When Alan and Robert lived in Washington, she moved to be with them, eventually returning to Rhode Island.

Evelyn loved to travel and had her chance to visit the Orient with her husband, Vincent. When she was young, she would go to New York and listen to jazz music, which she liked the most.

I think her greatest passion was cooking, she could make anything. and it was always wonderful to eat. She always tried to look her best, she never looked her age, even at her passing.

Her funeral service will be held on Friday, July 26th at 11:00 AM at Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence, RI. Burial will be private.
