Eva O'Connor

O'CONNOR, EVA (Bellemore) born October 23, 1919, passed away peacefully on January 11, 2014 at age 94. Eva was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Stanley O'Connor, her parents, Remi "Pete" and Jessie (Wallace) Bellemore, and siblings, Raymond Bellemore, Ethel Paquette, and Ruth Donaldson and longtime companion Arthur Lecuivre. She is survived by her daughters Janice O'Connor and Sue Noel, son Stephen O'Connor and his wife Simone, eight grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Eva worked for several years at Mine Safety Appliances in Esmond. At the age of fifty Eva returned to school and began a career in nursing.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday, 5-8 p.m. with her funeral on Thursday, at 9 a.m. from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. in St. Michaels Church, 80 Farnum Pike, Smithfield, followed by burial in Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter.
