Illiano, Eugenia L. "Jean" (DiStefano), 79, passed on May 4, 2021 at Lincolnwood Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center. She was the wife of the late Giuseppe Illiano. Born in North Providence, she was a daughter of the late John M. DiStefano, Sr. and Fernande (Berube) DiStefano.
Jean was the owner with her late husband of the former Two Guys from Italy and also worked for AT&T for over 25 years. She was an avid reader, and enjoyed gardening, listening to Elvis Presley, and baking and gifting Italian Christmas cookies. Most of all, she loved being with her family. Jean was a devoted wife, a caring mother, a loving sister, aunt, and friend. She will be missed by all those with whom she opened her heart and home with "family meals" that would be abundant with food, and more so, abundant with love.
She is survived by her daughter, Gina Illiano Giannakas and her husband Steve, her son, Michael David Illiano and his wife Nu, her sister, Janet Bood and her husband David, and her brother, John M. DiStefano, Jr. She was the grandmother of the late Francesca Illiano and sister of the late Patricia Kinney.
