Etta M. (Mark) Chin, 89, born in Fall River, MA 9/15/1923. She died on Friday June 28, 2013. She had 6 brothers and 4 sisters. Thid K. Mark, Ming Mark, an older sister, her twin brother John Mark, Luigi Mark, Linda Lee, and a younger sister are deceased.
Surviving siblings: Anthony Mark, Lincoln Mark. Lillian Kwong. Sister-in-law Paula Gwon. She has numerous nephews and nieces, along with great nephews and nieces.
Etta married Bing H. Chin (d: 1999) on December 3, 1944. They had Thomas B. Chin (wife: Marion), Susan H. Titus (husband: Louis G-deceased), and James B. Chin (wife: Mary), grandchildren Vanessa Chin, Daniel Chin, great grandchildren, Sofia, Selah, and Branson.

Etta was moved by the Bible's message of truth, she began studying in 1954 and was baptized as one of Jehovah's witnesses in 1956. She began her full-time pioneer ministry in 1969 and has continued active to this very month. Her husband Bing joined her in the faith in 1988. Her 3 children and their spouses are witnesses, along with some other relatives.

She had a love of life and people. She appreciated music, good food, fishing, gardening, mountain climbing and camping.

Etta's personality was shaped by God's word and she endeavored to display the fruitage of the spirit. She was loved and respected by all who knew her. She did many things to help persons in many ways.

Her entire life, she remained kind, courageous, cheerful, and loyally devoted to Jehovah God and his principles. As we remember so many things about this fine woman, we are sure that Jehovah God will remember her as a faithful servant as well. We look forward to the time when Jehovah calls and she answers. (Job 14:15) Then we will enjoy our time with her forever.

A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's witnesses, 1742 Atwood Av; Johnston, RI; It will be Saturday July 6 at 1:30pm
