Ernest Morra

Morra, Ernest, 85, of Amber St, died April 20, 2013 at his home. He was the husband of Rosemarie (Reynolds) Morra. A lifelong resident of Johnston, he was a son of the late Lorenzo and Antonia (DiMichele) Morra.

Ernest was a master electrician, and had worked at Cable Electric and Leviton Manufacturing for many years before retiring. He was a US Navy Veteran of WWII.

Besides his wife he leaves his children, David Morra and his wife Lory of Johnston, Thomas Morra and his wife Patricia of No. Scituate, Carol Giorgi of Johnston, and Paul Morra and his wife Sherry of Johnston, 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. He was a brother of the late Joseph, Nicholas, and Marianna Morra.

His funeral and visitation will be held Wednesday from 8:30 to 10:30 AM in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in Our Lady of Grace Church, Johnston. Burial with military honors will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
