Elsie Willis

Willis, Elsie Fell, 98, died May 11, 2010 at Kent County Hospital. She was the wife of the late Adelbert A. Willis. Born in Oldham, Lancashire, England, she was the daughter of the late Rev. Lambert and Nellie (Hall) Fell. She had lived in Smithfield before moving to Warwick in 2006.

Elsie was a keypunch operator for Brown & Sharpe and ADP before retiring. She was a volunteer at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital and Roger Williams Medical Center. She was a parishioner of Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Warwick and a member of the Eastern Star, Block Island.

She leaves two daughters, Carol Ann Dupre of Warwick and Bernice Butera of Greenville, six grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. She was the sister of the late Lambert Fell.

Her funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11 am in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park. Calling hours Monday 5-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pilgrim Lutheran Church, 1817 Warwick Ave., Warwick, RI 02889 or a charity of your choice.
