Elsie Corrente

Corrente, Elsie E. (Pece), 88, formerly of McGuire Rd, died October 30, 2010 at the Elmhurst Extended Care Facility. Born in Johnston, she was a daughter of the late Angelo and Victoria (Cambio) Pece.

She leaves two daughters, Frances Comforti of North Providence and Joyce Thurston and her husband, Jim, of Lexington, KY, four grandchildren, Lisa Pizzi and Robert Comforti, Jr., both of North Providence, and Lori Birch and Greg Thurston, both of Kentucky, 7 great grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren and a sister, Ann San Giovanni. She was the sister of the late Frank Pece, Susie Masso, Mary Charette, Philomena Charette, and Kenneth Countie.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Friday at 10 AM in Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, 25 Fourth St., North Providence. Burial will be private. Please omit flowers. www.robbinsfuneralhome.com.
