Elizabeth Puleo

Puleo, Elizabeth (Ricci), 94, formerly of Providence, went home to be with the Lord surrounded by her loving family on November 9, 2011 at Golden Crest Nursing Centre, where she had resided for the last five years. She was the wife of the late Stephen Puleo. Born in North Providence, she was a daughter of the late Giovanni and Antonia (Cafasso) Ricci.

Elizabeth leaves three sons, Stephen Puleo Jr. of Providence, John B. Puleo of Smithfield and David A. Puleo of Richmond, six grandchildren, Christopher, Bryan, Kimberly, Kyle, Alexandra, and Rev. Derek Puleo, three great-grandchildren, David, Evan, and Aiden, a sister, Evelyn Greco, and a brother, David Ricci. She was sister of the late John Ricci, Congetta Sorrentino, Mary Luzzi, and Pearl Vacca.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 7:45 am from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 am in St. Edward Church, Providence. Burial in Highland Memorial Park. Calling hours Monday 4-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hasbro Children's Hospital, PO Box H, Providence, RI 02903.
