Eleanor Fairbanks

Fairbanks, Eleanor W., died July 1, 2010 at Kent County Memorial Hospital. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Ralph and Lavinia (Garvey) Fairbanks.

Eleanor was a supervisor in the jewelry industry, working for Silverman Brothers and Marvel Jewelry Mfg. Company.

She leaves two sisters, Hope Murphy of West Warwick and Beverly Maltais of Florida, three brothers, Robert Fairbanks of East Greenwich, William Fairbanks of Foster, and Charles Fairbanks of Bellevue, NE, and many loving nieces and nephews. She was a sister of the late Ralph, Raymond, Francis, and Eugene Fairbanks, Marguerite Hirst, and Jane Moran.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, July 7th from 8:30 to 9:30 am in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Robert Bellarmine Church. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Robert Bellarmine Food Closet, 1804 Atwood Ave., Johnston, RI 02919.
