Edward Rankl

Rankl, Edward G., 87, died October 1, 2015. A resident of Cleveland, Georgia, formerly he was a long time resident of North Providence. He was the husband of the late Helen A. (Fontaine) Rankl, and son of the late John and Anna (Ott) Rankl.

Mr. Rankl had worked for the former Brown and Sharpe Mfg. until his retirement.

He leaves his daughter, Ann Muller and her husband Robert of Cleveland, and a stepson, James Garvin and his wife Sharon of Martinsburg, West Virginia.

His funeral will be held Tuesday, October 13, 2015, at 8 AM from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 AM In Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, 25 Fourth St, North Providence. Burial will be in St. Francis Cemetery, Pawtucket. Calling hours are Monday 5-8 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to an animal rescue mission of your choice.

Relatives and friends are welcome to join the family, following the burial, at the Atwood Grille, 1413 Atwood Ave., Johnston.
