Krzyzek, Edward T., 52, died December 14, 2010 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center surrounded by his devoted family. Edward had resided in North Attleboro before moving to Johnston in 1980. He worked for the post office for 27 years and was the In-Plant Support Manager at the Providence Turnkey Postal Center. Edward was an avid scuba diver and enjoyed traveling extensively.
Edward was the son of the late Edward A. Krzyzek. He leaves behind his loving wife, JoAnn (Silven) Krzyzek, his son, Adam Krzyzek of Johnston, his daughters, Audra Krzyzek and Amy Wheeler, both of Johnston, his son-in-law, Jeff Wheeler, two grandchildren, Austin and Ashlyn Wheeler, his mother, Irene (Plociak) Krzyzek of Central Falls, his brothers, Thomas Krzyzek of Rome, NY and Donald Krzyzek of North Attleboro, several nephews and a niece.
His funeral will be held Saturday at 9 am from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Our Lady of Grace Church, George Waterman Rd., Johnston. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park. Calling hours Friday 4-7 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Home and Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904.
