Edith Mullins

Mullins, Edith M., 96, of North Providence, died January 12, 2017 at Miriam Hospital. She was the wife of the late Clinton B. Mullins. Born in North Providence, she was a daughter of the late George T. Hawkins Sr. and Agnes (Gill) Hawkins.

Edith worked as a central service technician at Florida Hospital, Orange County. She was a member of the Johnston Seventh Day Adventist Church.

She is survived by four children, Marie A. Dittmar of Johnston, Cora L. Sanocki of Debary, FL, Patricia A. Walker and her husband Robert of North Providence, and William R. Green and his wife Janice of Smithfield, her stepson, Dr. Neil Mullins and his wife Brenda of Arkansas, fifteen grandchildren, and many great and great-great grandchildren. She was sister of the late Richard and George Hawkins, Cora Koscielniak, and Bertha Jez.

Her funeral service will be held Monday at 10 am in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Calling hours Sunday 4-7 pm and Monday 9:15-10 am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Johnston Seventh Day Adventist Church, c/o 56 Riverside Ave., Johnston, RI 02919.
