Dorothy Buffi

Buffi, Dorothy J. (Parr), 69, of North Smithfield, died November 4, 2014 at her home. She was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Mulcahey) Parr.

Dorothy worked at Blue Cross/Blue Shield of RI for almost 40 years before retiring. For the last ten years, she enjoyed traveling, spending time with her grandchildren and pets, and gardening.

She is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Gonera and her husband, Michael, two granddaughters, Rachael and Maggie Gonera, and two brothers, Robert and Donald Parr.

Her funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 am in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park. Calling hours Friday 4-8 pm.
