Doris Geremia

Geremia, Doris E. (Belisle), 94, formerly of Johnston, died December 4, 2011 at the Greenville Health Center. She was the wife of the late Louis Geremia. Born in Woonsocket, she was a daughter of the late George and Emelda Belisle.

The family would like to acknowledge the excellent care Doris received through Odyssey Hospice of Warwick and Greenville Health Center.

Doris leaves three children, William G. Geremia and his wife Linda of Johnston, Janis McHugh and her husband John of Ft. Myers, FL, and Richard L. Geremia and his wife Karen of Johnston, seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, and a sister, Pauline Phillips of Woonsocket. She was the mother of the late Nancy Frederick.

Visitation will be held Friday 8:30-9:30 am in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Our Lady of Grace Church, Johnston. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Lady of Grace Memorial Fund, 4 Lafayette St., Johnston, RI 02919.
