Doris Gargano

Gargano, Doris E., 81, died Monday, February 27, 2017 at Cherry Hill Manor. She was the wife of John J. Gargano. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late George and Lydia (Belanger) Gervais.

Doris was an animal lover and always had a cat. She also loved going to the beach, making holiday dinners for her family, dancing, and visiting Foxwoods.

Besides her husband she leaves her children, John Gargano and his wife Donna of Pascoag, Rosanne Gargano of North Providence, and Michael Gargano and his spouse David Azulay of North Providence, and a granddaughter, Katelyn Gargano. She was the sister of the late George Gervais and Theresa Jenkins.

Her funeral will be held Thursday at 9 AM from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 911 Atwells Ave, Providence. Calling hours are Wednesday 5-8 PM. Burial will be private.
