Doris Ferrara

Ferrara, Doris V. (D'Amico), 96, died February 8, 2012. She was the wife of the late Ralph Trotta and the late John Ferrara. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Margaret (Segel) D'Amico. Doris was a member of the former Roger Williams Baptist Church for 93 years until its closing.

She leaves a daughter, Marguerite "Peggy" Macnie and her husband, Everett of South Kingstown, three grandchildren, Bryan Macnie of Cape Cod, Sharon Baglini of League City, TX, and Glen Macnie of Rumford, and four great-grandchildren. She was mother of the late Richard J. Ferrara and sister of the late Arnold Arthur D'Amico Jr.

Her funeral service will be held Friday at 1 PM in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. Visitation Friday 12-1 PM. Burial to follow in Highland Memorial Park.
