Donald A. Lambert, Sr., 82, of Providence, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2024, at the Miriam Hospital. Donald was born in Providence to the late Romeo and Edith (Driscoll) Lambert. He was the husband to the late Nancy (Sutcliffe) Ryder and Isabel (Woods) Lambert.
Born in Providence and raised Catholic, Donald attended Central High School and worked for Purolator Courier service for over 20 years.
In Donald's younger days, he enjoyed bowling, dancing, photography, filming, playing the piano at various nursing homes, listening to Elvis and Johnny Cash, and riding his motorcycle. In more recent years, he enjoyed going to the casino, enjoying time with friends singing karaoke, and going to family get-togethers.
Donald is survived by his three beloved children Donald Lambert, Jr. (Marcie), Michael Lambert (Melissa), and Sheri Lambert; his siblings John Lambert (Joan), Rosemary Clark, Janet Woods, and Pauline Paquin; his step-grandsons Matthew and Jonathan; and many nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his sister Edith "Dee Dee" Muldovan and two brothers-in-law, Walter Clark and Ernest Paquin.
Visiting hours will be held Monday, August 5th, 2024 from 1-3 PM with a service at 3 PM in Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave. North Providence. Burial will be private.
