Donald Houde, Sr.

Houde, Donald L. Sr., 65, of Smithfield, died December 15, 2016 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Raymond and Alice (Proulx) Houde.

He is survived by four children, Donald L. Houde, Jr. of Smithfield, Virginia Rice of Vermont, Rebecca DiPietro of New Hampshire, and Donald Alexander of Connecticut, seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and five brothers, Raymond, Ernest, Gary, Michael, and Edward Houde. He was brother of the late William Proulx.

His funeral service will be held Monday at 11 am in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. Burial with military honors will follow in the RI Veterans Cemetery. Visitation Monday 10-11 am.
