Donald Cobb, Jr.

Cobb, Donald W., Jr., 75, of Maureen Drive, died January 15, 2014 at his home. He was the husband of Patricia I. (Fenner) Cobb. Born in Providence he was a son of the late Donald W. and Signe (Carlson) Cobb.

Donald was a pipe insulator for Local Unions 31 and 6 of the Heat and Frost Engineers for 44 years. He was a graduate of East Providence High School, a US Navy veteran, and was an avid golfer and bowler.

Besides his wife he leaves three daughters, Kristen Stallings and her husband Matthew of Cranston, Erin Zompa and her husband Michael of Smithfield, and Robyn Clavet and her husband Brian of Hopkinton, and six grandchildren Chloe, Nicholas, Kaitlynn, A.J., Nolan, and Corryn. He was the brother of the late Brenda Mangiapane.

His funeral will be held Saturday at 10 AM in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence. Burial with military honors will be in the RI Veterans Cemetery. Calling hours are Friday, 5-8 PM.
