Donald Beauchemin

Beauchemin, Donald, 85, died January 17, 2012 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. He was the husband of M. Irene (Labrie) Beauchemin. Born in Smithfield, he was a son of the late Michael and Rose Ann (Cahill) Beauchemin.

Donald was a skilled machinist for various firms, including Leesona, before retiring from Gulf and Western.

A devoted husband and father, in addition to his wife, he leaves four children, Patricia Sickinger and her husband Raymond of Mapleville, Edward Beauchemin and his wife Marie, Kathleen Doyle, and Kenneth Beauchemin and his wife Patricia, all of Smithfield, nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was the brother of the late William M. Beauchemin.

His funeral will be held Friday at 9 am from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Mary, Mother of Mankind Church. Burial in Highland Memorial Park. Calling hours Thursday 3-7 pm.
