Diane Miller

Miller, Diane (Muir), 78, a lifelong Smithfield resident, died on October 30, 2022 at Miriam Hospital.  She was the wife of the late Dennis F. Miller and daughter of the late Alfred Muir Jr. and Marian (Uttley) Muir.

Diane worked as a bus monitor for the Town of Smithfield before retiring.  She enjoyed a good meal at her favorite restaurant, Newport Creamery, and loved to read and color.

She is survived by three children, Tracy Miller of Cranston, Christine McGregor of Greenville, and Jeffrey Miller of Tennessee, four grandchildren, Kenny McGregor and his wife Angela, Courtney Faiola and her husband Joe, Joanne Miller, and Jacob Miller, and four great-grandchildren.  She also leaves two sisters, Christine Kershaw and her husband Ronald of Greenville and Leslie Baldensperger and her husband Alan of Pennsylvania.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 2 nd from 10 am – 12 Noon in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence, followed by burial in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or American Lung Association .
