Dennis Miller

Miller, Dennis F., 67, of Esmond, passed peacefully on March 3, 2012 after a brief illness. He leaves behind a loving wife, Diane (Muir) Miller, with whom he recently celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary. He is survived by three children, Tracy Greco of Coventry, Christine McGregor of Esmond, and Jeffrey Miller of Pawtucket. He was the proud grandfather of Kenneth McGregor III, Courtney Greco, Joanne and Jacob Miller. Dennis was loved by three siblings, Leroy Miller of Tampa, David Miller and Diane Choquette, both of Warwick. He was the son of the late Leroy and Agnes Miller.

Dennis was employed for many years by the Worcester Textile Company of Greystone where he was a loom operator, and later retired from the Smithfield School Department as a custodian, first at Old County Road School and later at Smithfield High School. He was more recently employed by the Olneyville New York System at both the North Providence and Providence locations. He was a retired member of the U.S. Army Reserves, giving 20 years of service to his country.

His funeral service will be held Wednesday at 11 am in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. Calling hours Tuesday 4-8 pm. Burial in Highland Memorial Park.
