Dennis Allaire

Allaire, Dennis F., 70, died June 26, 2012 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Born in Northampton, MA, he was a son of the late Wilfred and Ann (Bell) Allaire.

Dennis was the owner of J & D Family Restaurant of Johnston, a successful family-owned business, since 1969. He was a devoted father and loved spending time with his grandchildren. He also loved to ride his bike.

He leaves three children, Blaine Allaire of Johnston, Gigi Pacheco and her husband, Allen of Smithfield, Nicole Delos and her husband, Lionel of Chepachet, four grandchildren, Cory and Taylor Pacheco, and Gabrielle and Renee Delos, his former wife, Rita Allaire, and his sister, Judy Ryan of Hatfield, MA.

His funeral will be held Friday at 10 am from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Philip Church, Greenville. Burial in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Calling hours Thursday 5-8 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Home and Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904.
