David White

White, David R., 70, of North Providence, passed away on Saturday, October 31, 2015. He was the beloved husband of Madelyn (Campbell) White for 44 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Harold C. and Catherine F. (Flaherty) White.

David was a supervisor for the State of RI, Division of Probation and Parole for many years before retiring.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his children, Kara Underwood and her husband Mark of New Canaan, CT and Amy Frisina-Scotti and her husband Ken of North Providence. David was the cherished grandfather of Maddox and Caroline Underwood and Lindsey Frisina. He was the brother of Patricia McMahon and Catherine Mullendore and the late Harold J. and Thomas K. White.

Relatives and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday at 11 am at Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, 25 Fourth St., North Providence. Burial will be private. Calling hours Tuesday 4-8 pm in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in David's name may be made to Mary, Mother of Mankind Church or Home and Hospice Care of RI.
