David Sabato

Sabato, David G., 80, of Smithfield, died July 21, 2016 at Cortland Place. He was the beloved husband of Ann Marie (Petteruto) Sabato. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Gennaro and Lucia (Marandola) Sabato.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his much loved daughters, Denise Webb and Debbi Dumais and her husband Ron, six grandchildren, Jennifer, Christopher, Ronny, Destiny, Michael, and Lilly, and one great-granddaughter, Evelyn. He was the brother of the late Teresa Mangiantine, Jennie White, and Flora Almeida.

His funeral will be held Monday at 8:15 am from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 am in St. Philip Church, Putnam Pike, Greenville. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park. Calling hours Sunday 5-7 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Beacon Hospice, 1 Catamore Blvd, East Providence, RI 02914.
