David Peterson

Peterson, David R., 78, of Capron Rd., died Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at his home. He was the husband of Leah (Carlton) Peterson. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Henry and Lucy (McConnell) Peterson.

David had worked as a medical equipment repairman for General Electric and retired from XRI of Warwick. He was a veteran of the US Air Force, and then served with the RI Air National Guard until retiring. David was devoted to his family, his wife, children and grandchildren.

Besides his wife, he leaves two children, David Peterson and his wife Cheryl, Diane Kalmer and her husband Irwin, four grandchildren, David and Ryan Peterson, and Samuel and Gary Kalmer, his siblings, Caroline Loader, Lucy Reale, and John Peterson. He was the father of the late Gary Peterson and brother of the late Benjamin and Henry Peterson and Grian Brenner.
