Pellerin, Darlene M., 47, of North Providence, died November 30, 2008 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of Gerard Pellerin of Smithfield and the late Mary E. (Martin) Pellerin.
Darlene was a bus driver with RIPTA for the past five years. She was a hard worker and was always there with a joke. She was the "princess bingo player" and enjoyed playing at various bingo venues.
Besides her father, she leaves a sister, Elizabeth Stanton and husband Kevin of Charlestown, a brother, Gerard A. Pellerin and wife Kathe of Providence, and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and great friends.
Her funeral will be held Friday at 9 am from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Michael Church, Georgiaville. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Calling hours Thursday 5-8 pm.
