Cheryl A. Carreiro

November 27, 1960 — February 10, 2025

Cheryl passed away peacefully on Monday, February 10, 2025. Born in Central Falls she was the beloved daughter of Pauline Carreiro and the late Ronald Carreiro. She was the sister of Norman (Kathy), Steven (Karen), Joseph (Holly). She was predeceased by her sister Rhonda, Uncle Norman Carreiro, Aunt Charlotte Galligan, Uncle Raymond Paulhus and Uncle Gerard Paulhus.  She is survived by her Aunts, Dolores Parker, Dorothy Hatcher (Edward), Uncles Edward Paulhus (Dora) and Roger Paulhus, as well as several cousins.  She also leaves her nieces Jamie, Ashley, Charissa, nephews Norman, Brandon and several great nieces and nephews. Cheryl will be deeply missed by her “Second Family” Marianne, MaryAnn, Jasmene, Celeste, and all her devoted support staff at Cobble Hill. Cheryl was raised in the Catholic Faith, grew up and received her Sacraments in Saint Edwards Church, Pawtucket.


Cheryl’s beautiful smile, adventurous spirit, kind heart, sense of humor and gentle nature endeared her to everyone she knew. She was very social and had many friends. She enjoyed traveling, including several cruises and Las Vegas, iced coffee, movies, music, coloring, birthdays, dancing, WWE Wrestling and having her nails done.


Visiting hours will be held, Thursday, February 13th from 4-7 pm in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Avenue, North Providence. Her funeral will be held on Friday, February 14th at 8:45 am from the funeral home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in Saint John the Baptist Church, Pawtucket. Burial will be private.
