Charles Marshall

Marshall, Charles I. "Chuck" "Buddy", 84, of Deltona, FL, formerly of Johnston, died January 23, 2010. He was the husband of the late beloved Doris M. (Rossi) Marshall and the companion of Shirley Mascaro. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Charles and Mary (McMahon) Marshall.

Charles worked for City Hall Hardware and the former Retail Stores Delivery for many years. He was a member of the Teamsters Local 251 for 38 years and a past member of the Greystone Social Club. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII.

He leaves four daughters, Shirley McGregor of North Providence, Barbara Marshall Burke of Cumberland, Robin Garlick and Kathleen Bedrosian, both of Johnston, 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, a brother, Bernard Marshall of Deltona, and a sister, Delores Lanoue of Warwick. He was the father of the late Patricia Marshall and brother of the late Doris DiNofrio.

His funeral will be held Thursday at 9 am from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Lawrence Church, Centredale. Burial with military honors will be in RI Veterans Cemetery. Calling hours Wednesday 4-9 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, 220 N.
