Charles Harrison

Harrison, Charles J., 52, of Mineral Spring Ave, died July 14, 2009 at the Roger Williams Medical Center. He was the husband of Kathleen M. (McIntyre) Harrison. Born in Providence, he was a son of Ada (Sgambato) Harrison of North Providence and the late Charles J. Harrison, a former captain in the North Providence Police Department.

A lifetime resident of North Providence, he was a graduate of North Providence High School. He was the custodian at the Centredale School and had previously served with the RI National Guard.

Besides his wife and mother he leaves his children, Robert J. Harrison of New Bedford, Patrick S. Boule of Exeter, Shannon K. Boule of North Providence, and two granddaughters. He also leaves his siblings, Cynthia J. Soares of Warwick, Carol A. Guerra and Cheryl L. Harrison both of North Providence, and Robert J. Harrison of Warwick.

His funeral service will be held Friday at 11 AM in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence. Calling hours Thursday 5-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Allendale Baptist Church, 545 Woonasquatucket Ave, No. Providence, RI 02911.
