Cathy Kennedy

Kennedy, Cathy Rossi, 55, of Smithfield, passed peacefully on Friday October 18th at home. Cathy was the beloved wife of Paul E. Kennedy. Raised in Smithfield, Cathy was the daughter of the late James P. Rossi Sr. and Mary Jane (Gervais) Rossi.
Cathy was a devoted, loving, and proud mother of her two children, Jennifer Rossi Kennedy and Daniel Rossi Kennedy. In addition to her children, Cathy leaves behind her brothers, David D. Rossi of North Providence, Paul G. Rossi of Smithfield, and James P. Rossi Jr. of East Greenwich. Cathy has worked in logistics for many years, most recently at Natco Products in West Warwick, RI.
Loved by all who met her, Cathy will be missed dearly. Cathy had a caring spirit and was most happy when helping others or making new friends. In order to keep her spirit alive, in lieu of flowers, please consider performing a random act of kindness with her in mind.
The funeral will be held Friday at 9 am from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Michael Church, 80 Farnum Pike, Smithfield. Calling hours will be 4-7 pm Thursday.
