Cathy Dube

Dube, Cathy M. (Folco), 73, of Smithfield, passed away suddenly at home on September 13, 2022.  She was the wife of Ronald R. Dube.  Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Rocco and Gloria (Pimental) Folco.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her children, Lori-Ann Dube and Frank Dube, four grandchildren, Ronald J. Dube, Raquel Dube, Antonio DiZoglio, and Britney Lynn Rose, her sister, Carol Bessette, and her brother, Rocco Folco Jr. and his wife Erica.  She was the sister of the late Cinthia Folco Zarr.

Cathy had worked for Mine Safety Appliances in Smithfield.  Upon its closing, she working for Stop and Shop in Lincoln until retiring.  Cathy loved to host gatherings, sing karaoke, and dance.  She would go out every weekend with her husband and friends to watch country music bands.  She enjoyed cooking Sunday dinner for her family.  She also loved to travel, especially to Florida.  Cathy was an avid New England Patriots fan.

Her funeral will be held Friday at 9 am from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Michael Church, 80 Farnum Pike, Smithfield.  Burial will be in the RI Veterans Cemetery, Exeter.  Calling hours Thursday 4-7 pm.
