Fisher, Carol J. (Buteau), 54, died April 20, 2014 at Rhode Island Hospital. Born in Pawtucket, she was a daughter of Allen N. and Constance J. (Morgan) Buteau of Smithfield.
Carol held many jobs over the years at places like Cable Electric, Clifford Metal, URI, Davies and RIC. She was a talented musician and member of the Reservoir Rangers Drum and Bugle Corps, and later with the Warlords Drum and Bugle Corps. She was a skilled calligraphy artist and culinary arts wizard. Carol was an animal lover, saving many strays.
Besides her parents, she leaves two children, Brian Buteau and Rebekah Fisher, her fiancé, Ken Clemence, siblings, Denise Fernandes, Renee Murby, David Buteau, Michelle Galipeau, and Joyce Gervasio, her former husband, Jim Fisher, nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held Thursday 9:15-10:15 am in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence with a funeral service at 11 am in Trinity Episcopal Church, 251 Danielson Pike, North Scituate. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Providence Animal Rescue League, 34 Elbow St., Providence, RI 02903.
