Brian "Greg" Tongue, Jr.

Tongue, Jr., Brian G. “Greg”, 65, of Providence, died on August 6, 2021 at Miriam Hospital.  Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Brian and Valerie (Desjarlais) Tongue.

Brian received his undergraduate degree from Providence College, attaining a BS in Accounting.  He went on to earn his MBA from Bryant University and a second BS in Information Systems from Roger Williams University.  He later worked for Providence Water before retiring.

He is survived by his siblings, Clarissa Fox, Kenneth Tongue, Cynthia Martin, and Pamela Folco, nieces and nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 25, 2021 from 9-10:30 am in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Edward Church, Branch Ave., Providence.  Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Autism Project RI at https://theautismproject.org/
