Bradford Sweet

Sweet, Bradford B., 63, of Olney Ave., died July 4, 2010 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital. He was the husband of Lynne P. (McGuinness) Sweet.
Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Bowen F. and Marguerite A. (Burdick) Sweet.

Brad worked as a security guard at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital for the past five years. He served in Germany with the US Army during the Vietnam era.

Besides his wife, he leaves two children, Nathan B. Sweet of Moorepark, CA and Julie A. White of Jefferson, NJ, five step-children, Lori-Ann Madonna of Cranston, Sheri Finnegan and Wendy Mattchett, both of Smithfield, Michael Rioles of Richmond, and Anthony Rioles of Lees Summit, MO, a brother, Ralph F. Sweet of Long Island, ME, six grandchildren, ten step-grandchildren, and three step-great-grandchildren.

Calling hours will be held Thursday 4-7 pm followed by a service at 7 pm in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Joseph Health Services Foundation, Development Office-Marian Hall, 200 High Service Ave., North Providence, RI 02904.
