Beverly Theresa Burns, 76, of North Providence passed away peacefully on February 13, 2024. A beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, mother-in-law, and sister-in-law. She was kind, fair, compassionate, loved by all and touched many lives. Her greatest enjoyments in life included spending time with family and loved ones, playing bingo a few times a week, and eating ice cream and cookies. She was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox, and watching the New England Patriots surrounded by family. She enjoyed watching game shows, listening to music, singing, laughing along with others, and always added a quick wit to the conversation. She was known for her sweet, caring, and loving self and will be dearly missed by many. Born in Providence, Beverly was the daughter of the late Irene (Gervais) Ferrante and the late Daniel Ferrante along with her siblings, Brenda Hudeck of Michigan, Dennis Ferrante, David Ferrante, and the late Donald Ferrante of North Providence. She was a caring sister-in-law to John Hudeck of Michigan and Annmarie Ferrante of North Providence. She was the adored wife of the late Robert W. Burns. Together, they raised their children Theresa M. Carbone of North Providence, Brian P. Burns of West Warwick, and Kevin M. Burns of Coventry. She was also cared for by her son-in-law Joseph Carbone of North Providence, and daughter-in-law Melissa Burns of Coventry. She was the proud grandmother of eight grandchildren - Richard Leandre, Jessica Carbone, Victoria Carbone, Nicholas Carbone, Tyler Lefebvre, Roxanne Burns, Evan Sevigny-Burns, and Sophia Burns. In addition, she was a doting great-grandmother to Ryan Carbone, Jason DiChairo and Alec Lake, along with many beloved nieces and nephews - all who will carry her memory with them.
