Bessie "Betty" Palombo

Palombo, Bessie “Betty” Jane (Tefft), 92, died on March 31, 2023 at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital.  She was the wife of the late Fred Palombo.  Born in North Providence, she was a daughter of the late Willet and Sara (Anderson) Tefft.

Bessie worked for Kmart in Warwick for many years before retiring.  She loved drinking her coffee and going on car rides, especially down to Narragansett.

She is survived by her daughters, Donna Labrie and her husband Gary, Deb Brown and her husband David, Dana Dziedzic, and Dena Card, seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.  She was the sister of the late Anna Siok and Alice Robinson.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 11 am – 12 Noon in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence.  A graveside service will follow in Riverside Cemetery, 169 High St., Wakefield.
