Bertha Rhodes

Rhodes, Bertha H. "Kit", 80, died April 17, 2012 at her home. She was the wife of the late Thomas Rhodes, Jr. Born in North Attleboro, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Bertha (Snow) Ash.

Kit retired from Fleet Bank as an Assistant Vice President after 30 years. She was a communicant of St Alban's Episcopal Church and a member of the Johnston Historical Society, and the Narragansett Bay Wheelmen. She also was a volunteer patient liaison at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital.

She leaves a son Thomas C. Rhodes of Cumberland, two daughters, Valyrie A. Rhodes of Little Falls, NY and Holly H. Rhodes of Providence, a granddaughter Taylor H. Mims and a great granddaughter Neveah H. Smith.

Her funeral will be held Monday at 9 AM from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence with a service at 10 AM in St. Alban Church, North Providence. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Calling hours Sunday 4-7 PM.
