Bernice Guidone

Guidone, Bernice T. (Camara), 85, died May 31, 2018 at her home in Smithfield. She was the wife of the late John J. Guidone. Born in Smithfield, she was a daughter of the late Jesse and Violet (Terceiro) Camara.

Bernice was a supervisor of customer service at A.T. Cross of Lincoln for over 20 years before retiring.

She is survived by three children, Julie Verbois of Tiverton, Kathy Cateon of Swansea, MA, and John Guidone, Jr. of Matthews, NC, five grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild. She was the sister of the late Eileen Hillje and Lucia Paquette.

Visitation will be held on Friday from 8:30-9:30 am in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Michael Church, 80 Farnum Pike, Smithfield. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hope Hospice and Palliative Care, 1085 North Main St., Providence, RI 02904.
