Beatrice Garriepy

Garriepy, Beatrice (LaCroix) 91, died Friday January 17, 2014 at Hebert Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late William T. Garriepy. Born in Smithfield, she was a daughter of the late Alfred and Celina (Paquette) LaCroix.

Beatrice had worked for the school lunch program for thirty years.

She is survived by two children, William L. Garriepy and his wife Susan of Burrillville, and Sheila G. Wiken and her husband John of Peru, ME, three grandchildren, Mark Garriepy and his wife Cameron, Jason Garriepy, and Michael Garriepy and his wife Colleen, one great grandchild, Felix Garriepy, and a brother, Edward J. LaCroix and his wife Shirley, and many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9 AM from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave. North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM in St. Michael Church, Smithfield. Burial to follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. Calling hours Monday 6-8 PM.
