Barbara Lombari

Lombari, Barbara M. (Giarrusso), 73, of Morgan Ave., Johnston and Naples, FL, died August 5, 2008 at home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Anthony P. Lombari. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Palmino and Anna (D'Amico) Giarrusso.

Barbara worked in customer service for Wachovia Bank and First Union for 15 years, retiring in 2006. She also was an administrative assistant for Cobra Administration and Health Services. She was a member of the Sons of Italy, North Providence.

She leaves three daughters, Debra Vitale of Scituate, Tamara Parr of North Kingstown, and Sherry Lehane of Bristol, three grandchildren, Bryan, Matthew, and Adrianna, a brother, Alessandro Giarrusso of Texas, and a sister, Ann Piccoli of Coventry. She was sister of the late Richard Giarrusso.

Her funeral will be held Saturday at 9 am from the ROBBINS FUNERAL HOME, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Robert Bellarmine Church. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery. Calling hours Friday 4-8 pm.
