Barbara Gillis

Gillis, Barbara L., 78, died Saturday June 2, 2012 at home. She was the beloved companion of the late Anthony Ricci. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Mildred (Renzi) Cerra.

Barbara was an avid parishioner at Mary, Mother of Mankind Church and the former St. Lawrence Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Leveillee and her husband Ronald of East Greenwich, and two grandchildren, Joshua and Alexandra Leveillee. She was the sister of the late Constance D'Antuono and Gloria Pesare.

Her funeral will be held Tuesday at 9 AM from the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave. North Providence, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Mary, Mother of Mankind Church, North Providence. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Resource Foundation, 249 Roosevelt Ave. Suite 201, Pawtucket, RI 02860.
