Assunta Santucci

Santucci, Assunta "Sue", 90, a retired textile worker, formerly of Durham St., died May 26, 2008 at the Roger Williams Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Mariano Santucci. Born in Providence she was a daughter of the late Giovanni and Josephine (Maroni) Lanni.

She leaves a daughter Rose Volpe of Narragansett and a son Robert Santucci of West Warwick, 4 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was a sister of Emma Baccaire, Josephine Lanni, Flora Carmadello-Paul, Marguerite Catanzaro, Gertrude Pisani, Irene Reeves, Alfred and Robert Lanni, and the late Arnold, John, Anthony, William, Anna Marie Lanni, Rose Pezzillo, and Julia DeCellio.

Her funeral and visitation will be held Monday from 8:30 to 9:30 AM in the ROBBINS FUNERAL HOME, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Our Lady of Grace Church, George Waterman Rd., Johnston. Entombment in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. Please omit flowers.
