Ascenzo Martino

Martino, Ascenzo A. “Vinnie”, 90, of Smithfield, died Monday September 24, 2018 at Heritage Hills Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. He was the husband of the late Rosemary (Ricard) Martino. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Michael and Sylvia (Cedrone) Martino.

He served in the US Army.

He is survived by two daughters, Gina Peterson and her husband Russell of Smithfield, and Cynthia Martino of Greenville, three grandchildren, Jenna, Ryan and Amanda, and three brothers, Mike, John and Aldoph Martino. He was predeceased by siblings Elda, Frank and Teresa..

Burial with military honors will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Heritage Hills Activity Fund, 80 Douglas Pike, Smithfield, RI 02917.
