Arthur Robbins

Robbins, Arthur B., 90, of Warwick, passed away peacefully Tuesday afternoon at the Home and Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence. He was the husband of the late Ruth E. (Reynolds) Robbins. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Frank and Ruth (Booth) Robbins, formerly of North Providence.

Arthur was a member of Plumbers Fitters Union 28/51 for over 50 years. He served in the US Navy in Africa during WWII. He loved animals and skiing.

He leaves his sons, Bruce A. Robbins and wife Suzanne K. Robbins of Warwick, Frank J. Robbins and his wife Sandra Robbins of Warwick, and three grandchildren, Katherine A. Robbins of Boston, Peter B. Robbins of Warwick, Timothy Robbins of Warwick, a niece Jane Tarring of Warwick and a nephew Paul Rollins of Greene.

His funeral service will be Saturday at 11 AM in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave, North Providence. Burial with military honors will be in Pocasset Cemetery, Cranston. Calling hours Friday 4-7 PM.
