Arthur Gianfrancesco

Gianfrancesco, Arthur R.J., 91, formerly of Greenville, died on June 22, 2022 at Bayberry Commons.  He was the husband of the late Dorothy (Lambert) Gianfrancesco.  Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Arthur and Eva (DiPetrillo) Gianfrancesco.

Arthur was a self-employed master plumber in Rhode Island, Connecticut, and Massachusetts before retiring.  He was an avid pool player.  He had served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict.

Arthur had four children, Diane Conlon, Lori Sharp, Robert Gianfrancesco, and the late Arthur Gianfrancesco, five grandchildren, Meghan Williams, Chelsea Treml, Nicholas Conlon, Alex Gianfrancesco, and Sam Gianfrancesco, two great-grandchildren, Keith Williams and Aidan Treml, a step-daughter, Tonya Ferruolo Sullivan, and two step-grandchildren, Austin and Skyler Sullivan.

Visitation will be held Thursday, June 30, 2022 from 9:15-10:15 am in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave., North Providence with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am in St. Philip Church, 622 Putnam Pike, Greenville.  Burial will be private.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital at stjude.org
