Anthony Lolicata

Lolicata, Anthony M., 88, of Whipple Road, died December 29, 2009 at his home. He was the husband of Josephine "Jody" (Iannazzi) Lolicata. A lifelong resident of Smithfield, he was a son of the late Manuel and Georgianna (DeMello) Lolicata.

Anthony was a self-employed builder with St. Jean and Lolicata for many years before retiring and served with the US Army during WWII.

Besides his wife, he leaves two children, Mary A. Rotter and Michael A. Lolicata, four grandchildren, Michelle Rotter, Charles Rotter, Marisa Pfeiffer, and Alyse Lolicata, and his sister, Nancy Scrogey. He was brother of the late Salvatore and Florence Lolicata.

The visitation and funeral will be held Saturday from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave. North Providence, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in St. Michael Church, Georgiaville. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
