Anna Guarino

Guarino, Anna C. (Elgar), 86, a retired business owner, died Tuesday February 20, 2018 at the Overlook Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Louis A. Guarino. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Harry and Mary (Cambio) Elgar.

She is survived by her two children, Donna Smith and her husband Michael of Greenville and Louis A. Guarino, Jr., of Glocester, four grandchildren, Melissa Smith-McGinity and her husband Henry McGinity, IV, Jessica Guarino, Jayson Smith and Jennifer D’Antonio and her husband Steven, five great grandchildren, Domenic and Lindsay Smith, Ashton, Silas and Jaxon D’Antonio, a step granchild, Henry McGinity, V, and her siblings Robert and John Elgar, Barbara Contillo and Joan Desroches. She was the sister of the late Harry and Richard Elgar.

Her visitation will be held Friday, February 23, 2018 from 11AM- 1PM in the Robbins Funeral Home, 2251 Mineral Spring Ave. North Providence, with a funeral home service at 1PM. Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.
